I have lived in fear of the dentist for 50 years but no more.
I almost gallop into Hexham Dental Clinic! The atmosphere is calm, caring, friendly, helpful and I have not felt pain once whether it’s fillings or the hygienist.
Meghan and her team have completely changed my feelings towards the entire experience and I thoroughly recommend to all.

Hygienist appointment
Quarterly Visit to Hygienist - today my appointment was with Kathryn, the Hygienist. As usual Kathryn made me feel confident and comfortable. I had an issue with gum inflammation on both my lower right and left gums around the back teeth area. Kathryn advised me on how to tackle this problem and we will see how this has helped on my next visit. I left feeling very happy.

Dentist Megan was lovely and very kind to me .
I’m terrified of dentists , she didn’t judge me at all was very supportive explained everything to me . I had an abscess and had my tooth extracted never felt so at ease , I’m now registering with this dentist to get my teeth sorted can’t thank them enough .

First time seeing Dentist for examination and advice on dental management. Pleasant practice environment, polite and unhurried staff. Detailed consultation, listening to history issues and current presentation. Plenty of time for information and advice. Management plan made in best interests of dental condition. No ‘sales pitch’ for anything unnecessary.
Really impressed with the whole approach and have booked in my ongoing treatment. Thank you

Very welcoming dental practice - all staff are professional and polite. Very good care from Jim Sykes. Extremely pleased with my dental implant. He took great care to make sure I wasn’t in any pain whilst work was carried out ( pulling out tooth and replacing with new implant).

An emergency appointment after breaking tooth/filling. Slotted in next day. Options discussed and treatment plan agreed. Sharp edges covered with temporary filling. Booked in for subsequent appointments but also put on cancellation list. Couldn't have asked for more.

Always explains what’s to be done
Never great needing a filling, however put my full trust in Jim, always explains what’s to be done, attention to detail and puts you at ease. I also didn’t feel the anaesthetic which is a first for me. Apologies I didn’t get her name but the assistant was also great. Thanks again to the whole team.
