Thank you for your feedback. We take all feedback on board. Unfortunately if patients don't turn up with their own mask due to the increased cost of PPE we are having to charge patients for a mask. The practice is having to spend alot of money each month on PPE and companies have put their prices up massively since the start of the pandemic. Wearing masks or a facial covering is important to keep everyone safe. Yu will always need a mask when you come to the practice unless you have an exemption. We are doing our very best under difficult circumstances to keep everyone safe.

I met Jim for first time who was very pleasant but felt very uncomfortable as I was told he does not deal with NHS patients but because Megan was off he would see me, he kept apologizing and saying he did not deal with NHS patients, I was in for check up so I think my appointment should have been cancelled till someone who does deal with NHS patients was available, I am thankful that he did fit me in but felt he had a point to make.

We’re sorry that your usual dentist Meghan was not available to see you. We hope that our team were able to communicate the reason for this being that Meghan had contracted COVID and was self-isolating as a result. As one of the partners of HDC, Jim covered Meghan’s NHS list on this day to avoid cancelling patients appointments. As you will imagine, the COVID pandemic has had a negative effect on the availability of dental appointments so, where possible, we have tried to avoid cancelling appointments to reduce the waiting times for appointments at our clinic. We’re happy to hear that you were thankful that Jim was able to see you for your NHS examination and that you found Jim very pleasant. We trust that Meghan will be well enough in the near future to provide any ongoing NHS treatment for you.
