I'm happy with the overall care and treatment I received from Dr Ioannis Platargiass. He inspired confidence and had good attention to detail. My treatment was effective and done to satisfaction.
I wish I was referred to him sooner but I'm still happy overall.

Excellent first consult
Excellent first consult with Dr George. Only slight issue was waiting time but I was early and receptionist advised of overrunning appointments so I was aware. After meeting Dr George I easily understood why his appointments may take longer as he was very thorough and thoughtful. Can't rate treatment outcome yet.

I would recommend them especially for nervous patients
I went for regular periodontal treatment and they are aware I am very nervous especially with injections. They were patient, gentle and reassured me constantly. The treatment went well and I felt safe at all times. I would recommend them especially for nervous patients.

Just had my follow up appointment with Dr. Loannis Plastargias which was after I had laser gum treatment. I have to say he puts you at ease and explains everything that he is going to do. I would recommend if you need this or similar treatment going forward.

The reception has been refurbished and looked smart. The staff greeted us professionally and friendly.
My Hygienist George was exceptionally professional and friendly and made me feel so at ease. He was considerate and made the visit more pleasant.
Mr Morris was his usual friendly but professional self. He was relaxed and happy.
The whole atmosphere at the practice was very relaxed but professional and the staff seemed very happy.

What an excellent practice for nervous patients. My 12 year old granddaughter has a severe dental phobia aligned with Autism. It has been impossible to get her to a dentist but our local dentists in Southend advised us that Longwood House may be able to assist as they can offer light sedation. From the initial call explaining the situation, booking, to arriving at the practice the staff were kind considerate and accommodating.. And as for Dr Suma what an exceptional dentist and human being she is.. she went above and beyond her professional capacity, Spending time offering explanation and built a relationship of trust which we thought impossible. As a family we cannot recommended Dr Suma or the practice enough especially if you need extra support. If we lived locally it would certainly be our practice of choice
