Just had 6 veneers replaced by my excellent dentist Jinu (apologies for misspelling) . He has done an excellent job for a very fussy patient! The veneers look very natural and are fitted perfectly. I'll be back for more work. Highly recommended at a reasonable price.

My experience
The dentist Mr Brian Simmons is a very very nice person. Friendly. Good at his job. No time wasted. Charged me less for exactly the same treatment from last time. I was very happy with everything. The only disappointing thing, the practice still smells terrible. It was quite bad on my last visit which I reported and they were aware of. But sadly it’s still not resolved. The reception staff could be friendlier. Could have a smile on their face! I would like to use the hygiene in the practice but it’s too expensive. This is the answer to the next question.

I apologise for the bad odour in the practice. We did take your previous feedback on board and worked towards fixing it straightaway. Unfortunately when dealing with issues that do not have an immediate fix, getting issues resolved can take a period of time. I am happy to say that this has now been resolved.
I am sorry you felt reception staff were not friendly. Your feedback has been passed on to them.
I am also sorry that you find the hygiene prices too high. I appreciate that all of us are having to deal with increase in prices in all aspects of daily life right now. Our prices are fixed by Rodericks Dental Partners with much deliberation and in keeping current market rates.
I hope your next visit to the practice will be more positive. Once again, thank you - your feedback is valuable in helping us improve our services.

My experience
After my first appointment I developed a cold sore and after my second appointment I've developed a mouth ulcer or could be another cold sore. I'm very concerned that the equipment is not being disinfected properly. I paid for a dental polish but my teeth look the same colour! Appointment feels rushed. I'm not very happy with quality of care and will look into changing dental practice.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service.
It is extremely unlikely that you have got a cold sore from any instruments in our practice. If any patient presents with a cold sore, no treatment is carried out and the patient is rebooked at a later
date.
We also follow a very thorough sterilisation process. The autoclave has a test run every single morning before use to ensure it is functioning correctly. Every single cycle is checked and recorded to ensure it reaches the optimal temperature for sterilisation. Instruments are then pouched and sealed until ready for use.
At your appointment the dentist carried out an exam, scale and polish and a filling. A scale and polish does not whiten teeth. If you would like to whiten your teeth you would need to book an appointment for whitening treatment.
