Claire is an excellent dentist. She is very thorough and very professional, but also very friendly and caring. She is the best dentist I have ever had. I cannot praise her enough.

Fantastic surgery

Fantastic surgery, been here for over 30 years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Have moved across the other side of Preston but still travel back just for them.

My experience

I recently had a filling done by Mohammed Bilal which went ok but I was very disappointed when he dropped the vacuum hose on the floor but picked it up, gave it a quick wipe with his glove and continued to use in my mouth without replacing the head or cleaning it properly... very bad hygiene practice. I also felt he was very un prepared for the procedure as twice his assistant had to go out of the room to get things he needed from a different room.

My experience

Had to wait 30 minutes from appointment time. A quick check of stability of teeth. A check around mouth using mirror. No plaque scraping or feeling fillings. I was told my teeth were good and that was it. I asked if my teeth were going to be cleaned as Stella always did a quick clean ( which is included in the cost). I was asked if I saw the hygienist. I replied no as I have very sensitive teeth. Then told my teeth were not showing any sign of plaque (which is good news) except for a little at the front and keep on top of it. And at the end told there was a slight crack down front tooth to keep an eye on.
Overall it felt like a quick, rushed appointment, probably because behind time.
A lovely person, both dentist and assistant.

My experience

I felt the check up was very rushed. I was sat in the chair for no longer than a minute. I also feel like the personal aspect that I used to have when attending Oakland's has gone. I see a different dentist every time and sadly don’t feel like the service is what I have received in previous years.
