I moved to CCD after some very stressful experiences with the NHS - about 7 years ago, and it has been the best experience ever since. I am no longer nervous at all, and feel very looked after; with each visit you get a very personal service. I pay for denplan which is nice to spread the cost monthly. I’ve had fillings , X-rays etc, always kept informed throughout treatment and never ever in pain. I have recommended to my family and friends and many have joined. It’s always very clean and waiting room kept to a high standard which, I think, these little things speak volumes.
I genuinely used to be so nervous for the dentist and now I’m not at all anxious. Thanks Derek and everyone at CCP.

Replacement of old fillings
Yesterday I had some old fillings replaced that are at the front of my teeth so on full display when I smile. I have hated this tooth also because of the shape of it. Finally now because of Ash and his expertise, I can now smile with full confidence instead of trying to hide it. Thank you so much Ash.

Flawless Filling!
As a nervous patient, I have always struggled to find a dentist I like and trust. But, Christchurch Dental Practice has been amazing from start to finish! Abdullah has done an incredible job with my filling, resulting in a flawless finish - you cannot tell where the filling starts and the natural tooth ends! Both Abdullah and Gabi were very supportive and caring during the appointment, ensuring I was not only calm but entirely comfortable throughout the entire procedure! I didn’t even feel the anaesthetic being injected, which is often a cause of anxiety for myself! I cannot remember a time when I have felt so relaxed in a dental chair!
On leaving, both Clair and Poppy were very warm and friendly, ensuring I had my routine appointments scheduled. One very happy patient!

Kind and gentle hygienist
Jess understands me! Knows I’m a nervous attendee and that I hate having a scale and polish, so she puts me at ease first by chatting, and talks me through everything. She’s also willing to stop the ultrasound cleaner and scale by hand when it gets too much. Thank you Jess!
