Derek is one of the best dentists that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Very well spoken in a calming, yet reassuring voice and he explained things very well. The nursing staff to the receptionists also compliment the relaxed experience well. Highly recommend Christchurch Dental!

I’ve been with CCDP for 3 years now, undergoing Invisalign treatment with Derek - who I can’t recommend highly enough! My smile has been completely transformed already, and I can’t wait to see the end result.
Right from my very first consultation with Becky, I’ve been so well looked after, and I loved the personal touch of a handwritten notecard in the post, welcoming me to the practice. The reception staff are always so helpful and efficient.
I recently had my first appointment with Laura (Hygienist) - who was every bit as kind and reassuring as all the other staff at CCDP. I’m a ridiculously nervous patient, but nothing fazes them!

My wife has a number of disabilities following a serious stroke and I have in the past praised the consideration she receives from the whole team at the Christchurch Practice. Our recent urgent visit illustrated their thoughtful and considerate approach. From Dr Ashvin Babbar initially spotting that appointments made could be re arranged to be more convenient for us, to the help and support from the whole team on arrival to ensure my wife's comfort and wellbeing. Needless to say Dr Ashvin and his colleagues ensured her comfort during treatment. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team.

Christchurch Dental are the best dentists I have ever been to. Derek and the team make you so welcome and it feels like a truly personal experience. Laura the hygienist is so personable and happy to answer any questions and she explains her process so you know exactly what is going on. Dr Ash is such a warm person and he is so good at answering questions and explaining treatments. Derek will always stop and say hello no matter how busy he is. They are great with nervous patients and their Covid precautions are incredibly well thought out.

Good service by friendly staff. Always a pleasure to sit and have a chat with Ash and the girls. Good advice as always with every visit. Will endeavour to floss everyday

My only regret with this dental practice is that I didn’t join sooner. Everybody is effortlessly friendly and puts you at ease. Treatment is thoroughly explained and options given. After previous bad experiences elsewhere, I feel relaxed and have confidence in the fantastic team at Christchurch Dental. 5 star treatment and care.

I am a new patient at Christchurch Dental and I am also a VERY nervous one. From the very start, my hour long first visit was amazing. Derek and Becs, his lovely assistant, carried out a very thorough examination, nothing like I’ve ever had before at previous Dentists. They made me feel calm and comfortable, not doing anything until they explained to me what they were going to do every step of the way. I have a very painful and troublesome tooth, Derek advised me of all my options and explained, in detail, what they were, even drawing a picture for me so I could understand what my problem was and what can be done. I have opted for a Crown with sedation in a months time and I am actually looking forward to going back at the end of March to have the procedure done. Never thought I’d EVER say I’m looking forward to going to a Dentist! I may actually keep up regular visits instead of only going when I absolutely have to!
The practice is clean and bright and they adhere to strict hygiene procedures from the moment you walk through the door. I can’t praise enough not only Derek and Becs but all the staff at Christchurch Dental. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Thoroughly recommend anyone to this practice. 👍👏👏

My family and I are long standing clients of Christchurch Dental, first meeting Derek to undergo Invisalign treatment for myself. It was a pleasure to visit the surgery during that first period of treatment and continues to be today.
My eldest daughter has recently completed her own Invisalign journey with the practice. Throughout the course of treatment, Derek and his team went above and beyond to ensure that the very best result possible was attained, always with a compassionate and personable approach. Derek carefully reviewed my daughter's case at several points, and made adjustments, always with the aim of the perfect smile even if that extended the treatment time. I appreciated this care and attention to detail, which made the whole journey very worthwhile. Treatment Coordinators, Becky and Gabi, were excellent and always responded quickly to any queries or issues. The reception team are very calm and helpful, making the whole experience feel smooth and at ease. We know we have received the highest standards of skill & care and would recommend Christchurch Dental to anyone considering Invisalign or looking for a new Dental Practice.
