Visit to the hygienist
Receptionist v curt, said, ‘95’. Rather brusque and unprofessional. No please or thank you, call me old-fashioned but surely manners are the basics.
Maria, the hygienist and her assistant are lovely. Super warm, assuring and professional. They make you feel like you are valued rather than a ‘number’ on a payroll which seems to be the way NHS has gone/continues to go. Couldn’t praise Maria or her assistant/technician more.

Refit a crown which had come loose
Absolutely fine. The job was done quickly and efficiently. The dentist and other staff were pleasant and friendly and everything was fully explained. Basically job done. Note: a question below asks if I was private or NHS. I ticked NHS even though I paid a fee of about £23.50 (just to clarify).
Also further down it asks do I want to remain anonymous publicly. I’m not sure what exactly is implied here so I ticked the box.

Very pleased with my visit. The dentist took time to very thoroughly do her examination and discovered a problem my previous dentist missed, so I now know to what to do to prevent further problems. She was also able to suggest helpful solutions to another ongoing problem which has been bothering me for months. This was a relief since my previous dentist was unable to do that either, even after several visits.

I've had two one off treatments here privately and I received excellent care again just like last time. Staff are friendly with a high level of expertise. If I could afford to go here on a regular basis, as my usual dentist, I would.

I was booked in for root canal treatment. Saw the dentist on time, he kept asking me if I was OK.
I was in the chair nearly an hour, but felt looked after the whole time.

I was really impressed
I saw a dentist for my checkup I had not met previously. I’m going through a difficult time with my overall health and I had been advised to get a dental checkup ahead of my upcoming treatment. I was open with the dentist (I cannot remember his name unfortunately), and he was very professional and considerate without making things awkward for me. I was really impressed that although this was just a checkup he took the time to talk me through an area of my mouth with tartar, taking a picture so I could clearly see, and then cleaning the area. I appreciated his manner which made a tricky situation for me personally much easier.
