I needed to have a molar extraction and then a large filling in the tooth next to it, and the dentist was brilliant and listened to my wishes then carefully carried out both procedures with very little pain or discomfort. I was very sad to hear that he was not staying at the surgery for much longer though.

My experience
Whilst the actual dental check up was fine I was seen almost 20 later than my appointment time, with no updates provided.
When I checked in with the reception team they didn’t inform me my dentist was running late, and it was only when I asked that I was told my dentist was running 5 or 10 minutes behind.
When I finally saw my dentist she didn’t apologise.
I understand appointments don’t run to time. On check in I’d suggest the reception team let the patient know if there are any delays in the schedule to manage expectations.

Street Lane Dental Centre
I have found my overall experience with you to be a good one. From identifying any problems, making a plan of action, and working out the best dates and times for me as I now live in Filey, which is a long journey. I could have changed dentist but it's hard to find a good one, let alone one as good as yours so preferred to stay. My latest treatment involved quite a bit of work, eg..building a metal dental plate, replacing lost teeth, followed by building up 2 broken front teeth caused by involuntarily biting down during operations. It's amazing what my dentist has done, they look even better than the originals. I made the right decision staying with Street Lane Dental Clinic as a private patient.

Amazing
On Sunday I sheared the cusp off a molar eating my son's roast crackling. A charming receptionist managed to get me an appointment with my dentist Dr Abulula on Tuesday. She is amazing! I walked out with a repaired tooth that looks and feels just like the old one. I was kept informed during all of the procedures with options explained along with costs. I am very happy!
