Extraction
I was having a tooth removed which proved extremely stubborn. During the time he was extremely calm, gave a full explanation as to what he was going to do. It took longer than expected but he remained extremely professional and I remained comfortable throughout. A true professional.

Emergency treatment
I came here for emergency treatment as my own practice in Headingley was unable to offer appointments and I'm very happy I was given Street Lane Practice, they were welcoming and understanding and Phil my dentist was very calm and reassuring through some tricky treatment when I always felt my best interests were foremost. Calm and kindness
After a painful emergency which gained me a visit to Phil Hawkins and several further visits with him to complete my treatment, I have never had such gentle dental care. Phil’s voice and entire demeanour is one of calm and kindness. His ‘bedside manner’, so to speak, is second to none and would make the most nervous if patients at ease. Happily I am not a nervous patient but whilst the procedures were undertaken, all I could think of, to my immense surprise, was how relaxed I felt. I would like to hope that the practice will keep him on as a permanent member of the team as he is and will be a huge asset. He also has a great choice of music and has a lovely sense of humour. Thank you Phil and to all the team.
