My son had a tooth removed and the dentist checked before if he was numb by feeling his gums and she said can you feel that...he said yes and she replied it's ok it will be ok even though he said he could feel her. Then she continued to take his tooth the minute she started he started to scream cause he wasn't numb and he screamed the whole way through then all the way home he was the same with sweat beads all over his face as he was in shock he was just 5. Then also myself had an equally bad experience with the same person I had a root filling to which she clamped my gums till the assistant pointed out I was bleeding (I don't like making a fuss so I just put up) then she flushed it out but the cover wasn't fitted properly so I had what I can only describe as bleach in my mouth that was burning and all I could do was point as I didn't want to swallow what smelt like bleach to which she said "it's a smal ltooth so couldn't cover it properly. I am scared now of dentists but scared to change in case everyone is the same but I have also heard that other people are having the same worries which in turn worries me.

Friendly receptionists, not kept waiting too long, thorough dentist, happy with my care.

My regular dentist left the practice and I really trusted her (Peju) so I'm sad to no longer have her as my dentist. The new dentist took much much longer than expected to start working at the practice and so my routine appointment was delayed. This is not very good. The new dentist seems nice though, however wasn't clear about my treatment plan given I have had pain in my tooth. Any tooth pain triggers anxiety for me and so I need reassurance. I will have to wait and see how things go. I have always managed to be seen in an emergency when I do have pain and so that is reassuring. The main thing that I don't like is how quickly you delete people off your books. I understand missed appointments, however even if someone cancels late due to illness this is classed as a black mark against your name. My son is no longer on your books due to this issue and so has to now travel 10 miles each time he needs to see a dentist, which is ridiculous given you are just down the road from us.

The positive comment I must make though is how friendly your receptionists are. One in particular now greets me by name when I arrive. Fantastic customer service.

Service is not as good as the service I used to receive at my previous dentist. Appointments feel rushed, probably not in the consultation room for longer than 2 minutes max. My previous dentist used to talk to me in depth about my teeth whereas now they just count the numbers and I'm out.

I was called in 40 minutes after my appointment time with no apology once I got into the surgery. Had checkup at the same time as my emergency appointment but no cleaning offered.

Dentist put us all at ease... And it was the first time my 5 and 2 year old showed their teeth! They were so scared but dentist and Kerrie were amazing
