The team were very welcoming and put me at ease. The check-up was carried out with no issues and I was given advice regarding using an interdental brush as I have a few teeth that are very close together. I was also given two interdental brushes of different sizes to deal with the different sized gaps. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Thank you to the 2 young ladies who looked after me.

I was a little anxious about having a deep clean with the hygienist. However she allayed my fears and offered to anaesthetise me. It wasn’t necessary and the procedure went extremely well.

Excellent, efficient service

It is good to be recognised on entering reception and to be taken immediately to your surgery area being mindful of my limited mobility.
Lesley cleaned my teeth well and gave advice on areas to concentrate.

9.20 Dental Hygenist. I didn’t have long to wait, and was ushered into a surgery with a wonderful view of the Pound Shopping Precinct flower bed, which is at its best. My feelings before going in were similar to a person who is about to be seen by the Headmistress, as they have been skipping games lessons by hiding in the cloakroom. So, no, I haven’t persevered with the massage tool I was given for my gums. After a few days, it made a sore place. Dental inspection. Never pleasant, but both the hygenist and the nurse were nice, and I survived. The hygenist then explained clearly some information about pockets between my back teeth and my gums, that attracted food particles and were slightly infected.
She showed me how to clean more effectively between my teeth with a set of small brushes, not difficult when lying down with her mirror in my hand, but perhaps less manageable over the sink at home. We shall see. Off I went, very pleased to be on the other side of an appointment that I do rather dread. I did feel that I had a better understanding of my gums though!
