I’ve been a patient at Brightside Dental for about five years, back when the clinic was still located on Maidstone Road, just a few steps from my home. I always received excellent treatment there, so when they moved to Palmers Green, I had no hesitation in staying with them.
The new clinic is conveniently located right opposite the tube station, making it very easy to reach. It’s a brand-new space with a welcoming atmosphere — the waiting area has comfortable seating, a free coffee station, and beautiful design details and art pieces. It almost feels like you’re on Harley Street, but you’re actually in Palmers Green.
This time, I visited them to have both of my lower wisdom teeth removed under sedation. I chose sedation because I was quite anxious about the procedure and preferred not to have any memory of it.
Dr. Ketan, who is also my regular dentist and absolutely fantastic, handled the sedation with great care and reassurance. The extraction was performed by Dr. Shahrokh Ali, the clinic’s oral surgeon, who was equally impressive — calm, professional, and highly skilled. The procedure was quick, painless, and I felt completely at ease throughout.
I also want to give a huge thank you to the admin team, especially Crystal and Jennifer, who have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process.
A special mention goes to Jennifer — she has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Proactive, patient, always one step ahead, and genuinely kind. Honestly, she’s better than my own PA! She followed up, made sure everything was clear and smooth, and made me feel taken care of at every stage.
This clinic continues to deliver a level of care and service that is truly hard to find. I wouldn’t trust my dental health with anyone else.

It was my first visit and the dentist was very kind, careful and explained things very fully. The only thing I really didn't like was that before starting, the assistant pointed a camera at me and asked me to smile for her to take a photo. In hindsight I wonder if this was more for the cosmetic side of the business, which I am not interested in. I have a small mouth and can't smile comfortably open-mouthed, and when I told her that she looked very confused which made me feel embarrassed. Then the dentist used some big metal things to pull my lips back to the sides, and I had to hold them in place myself, which was painful and humiliating. My previous dentist elsewhere did excellent work, but never asked me to do such a thing.

Excellent service from Mihaela. The new practice is very modern and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough.

This is a new location for Brightside Dental which I was thrilled to find so easy to get to as well as the fresh and bright space providing a genuinely caring and relaxing atmosphere providing friendly efficient and thorough dental care. There are now new screens with music on the ceilings so when you are in the dental chair sitting back you can enjoy the views of beaches and trees. Plus living walls of greenery adding to the relaxing ambience.

I had my appointment today and found the new dental office bright and beautiful. So much easier to get to in Palmers Green where the W6 stops right outside! Also, the improved space is highlighted by living green walls and a screen on the ceiling and music to enjoy a restful view of faraway holiday spots with beaches, water and trees. The best dental experience I have ever had. The staff are genuinely caring and friendly. I feel so lucky to have found this gem even before they moved but now it’s improved even more and I am truly thankful and impressed.

Truly delightful people work at this practice. I feel heard (which has been an issue with previous dentists) and they take pain relief seriously. The screen showing calming videos above the dentist's chair is a helpful touch. Mihaela's treatment of my periodontitis has been excellent. I had been seeing an expensive dentist (the kind with leather sofas in the waiting room) in central London for this condition, and I have to say Mihaela's treatment has produced much better results. Only 4 stars this time because my medical details form included the question 'would I like more youthful-looking skin?' (why?). At best this is irrelevant; at worst unethical, in that it may play on insecurities.

I've been a patient of this practice for many years now and would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation. Last year, following a course of treatment to save a tooth (successful) I had a discussion with Ketan about some other functional issues and opted for Invisalign treatment to tackle them. Now the treatment is over I couldn't be happier. I have seen a huge improvement in my oral health as it is now much easier to clean between my teeth and protect them from grinding and there is the added benefit of a bright, perfect smile. Every treatment I have with Ketan is always carefully explained beforehand, clearly and competitively costed and carried out with the utmost care and detail. I can't imagine going to anyone else for my dental needs. The new state of the art premises in Palmers Green are a pleasure to visit - a calming oasis where every detail has been carefully thought out to maximise patient comfort, even down to the great new coffee machine in reception. All the staff here are so welcoming and wonderful - don't hesitate to book in if you're in need of dental services, particularly if you're the nervous type!

i’m a very nervous patient at the dentist and i found Brightside Dental in hopes of overcoming my fear. i was anxious at the start but i then felt so at ease during my appointment. my dentist was very patient with me talking me through each step before proceeding, and made a care plan for me going forward, he went through everything thoroughly and carefully. he also gave me all the information i needed for finance options which put my mind at ease for my upcoming procedures. i couldn’t be more grateful to finally feel comfortable and confident going to the dentist. i can’t recommend them enough.

My wife had an implant procedure done at Brightside. The procedure was planned out by Dr Ketan Shah, Surgeon Dr Shahrokh and nurse Lana performed the procedure. Utmost professionalism and care from the team. They are the stars of the Brightside roster. Would recommend all patients, especially those that are nervous about any dental procedures to not waste time and go visit this fantastic practice. Thank you Brightside Team.

I had the diamond clean with Negar today, she is very good , gentle makes you feel so comfortable. She is wonderful with nervous patients.
Overall a lovely experience and I can't recommend enough the diamond clean, it does wonders for your teeth.
