Crown + Fillings done
Repair of broken tooth.
Parth did an excellent job of repairing my badly chipped tooth and was able to do both the routine check up and the repair in one sitting which meant all the work was done before the festive period.
He took great pains to explain the treatment, the costs and the alternatives prior to us making a decision.

Another successful visit
I had my 6-monthly dental hygienist appointment and came away with lovely smooth clean teeth.
Being a nervous patient I use my noise-cancelling headphones and favourite chill-out music. That helps but the main relaxation and reassurance come from my hygienist and dental assistant who pause if needed at the raising of my hand.
I'd just had Covid for over 2 weeks and had a residual cough.
I didn't want to miss this important appointment and being able to pause occasionally to cough made all the difference.
Also having flossed and used my electric toothbrush since my last visit meant the manual scraping part was much reduced.
In fact, the whole appointment went much faster, was less stressful and I was much more relaxed thanks to my familiarity and trust with all involved.
I wouldn't go anywhere else for dental work as all Brightside staff from reception to dentists, hygienists and assistants make each visit a pleasure at a nervous time.

Brightside Dental
Dr Darbar fitted a successful crown a couple months ago on a lower molar, which I am very happy with. I previously had an onlay there but the cavity was very wide and shallow which makes it harder for attachment of any onlay or filling. Hence a crown is a more secure choice. Another lower molar with a old fractured large metal filling requires a remedy to address the potential for decay, so I am proceeding with Dr Darbar to have another crown fitted. He explained why another filling for that tooth would not be the best choice at this point. In the new year, we will be starting the lab work and crown fitting, which I am satisfied will be an equally smooth journey with Dr Darbar.
