Initially felt very nervous - saw a fantastic Hygenist called Negar, followed by an appointment with Ketan, who reassured me and explained everything before my treatment from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

So happy I found Brightside. I had a fear of dentists, and needed a lot if work after neglecting my teeth for a long time. No judgement here, just care and reassurance. The dental work has been excellent, and everyone friendly and totally understanding. If you're a nervous patient, this is the place to go.

Great dental practice with friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend. They always look after me so beautifully. I used to be scared of the dentist and I’ve had some horrible experiences, but these amazing people have helped me to feel relaxed and calm when I’m there, something I didn’t think was possible.

I share a similar experiance of dentists as some of the other revewers. When I was a kid, some 60 years and more ago, dentists could be brutal as mine were. One guy hated to use gas or injection for fillings and extractions. He would often accept a phone call in the middle of treatment to talk 'shop' to another dentist. He once admitted that his drill bits burned teeth! Going to the dentist in those days meant PAIN, and as the proceedure was often more painful than the bad tooth, well, the outcome is obvious. Things have improved no end in recent times. These days its almost like a social event going to see Ketan and his team. A few laughs, a chat with the front desk and on to a relaxed and painless bit of dentistry.

This is a long review, but like fellow reviewers or pioneers who shared their story before me, I hope to help someone from the misery of dental pain and to take charge of their dental health as we all should have the confidence to.

I was 16 when I was told by a rather rude dentist that I needed a filling. When I asked a few questions I was given short shrift and left to feel that I couldn’t trust this man. Cue a 12 year hiatus on visiting a dentist until I was 28 - at which point after reading lots of forums and websites I landed upon Ketan’s website with these testimonials from lots of patients who told the virtues of this non judgemental, pain free dental practice with tools such as the magical wand, could injections really be painless and complex previously unfathomable procedures really be done in such a sensitive and considered way? After a year I managed to pluck up the courage to call and from the moment Faith warmly answered the phone, I felt like this could be the place to get me though.

I arranged to visit Ketan and I can honestly say that he listened, wanted to understand what my anxieties were and agreed to do everything at my pace and to my agenda. Miraculously we identified only a few fillings were needed and potentially a root canal. Everything was explained and Ketan wrote to me a few days later at home with a full treatment plan, clear prices and I called to get things started and agreed to start with a simple filling.

I was petrified before going for the procedure. My head filled with every horror story I’d been told, I could visualise every recoil from friends and family at the mere mention of the dentist. I mustered the courage but would have gladly run away -I’m glad I didn’t.

I arrived and was pleased that my requests of all dental equipment to be kept hidden/under paper had been met and I was able to sit down without my fears being made worse by seeing all manner of equipment that would be used. Most importantly, my request for Kiss FM to be on the radio had been received and I was comforted by the music I enjoy, rather than the typical ‘relaxing’ classical music that many dentists play and is far from relaxing! I felt in safe hands.

Ketan explained the procedure and after some magic gel on my gum he started with the dental wand to numb my tooth. Whilst clutching a stress ball at the fear of impending pain, the injection started and I didn’t feel a thing - this really was magic.

Once the tooth was numb it was time to start the filling, the next scary aspect. Ketan started work on the tooth and again, I didn’t feel a thing. Internally I started to realise that my fears were unfounded and I started to feel free of the worries I have had for years - I threw the stressball away much to the amusement of Ketan and Faith who soon realised I was doing okay with things and the procedure was soon done and was a total non event. Because the wand had been used for the anaesthetic, I was also able to get on with my day without waiting for the numbness to wear off!

Since then, I’ve had a number of fillings, hygienist appointments (all of the team are lovely) and more recently after some unfortunate infection with one of the teeth that had a large filling, I had to have a root canal procedure and a crown. This is probably one of the scariest procedures everybody you talk to will balk at and I can honestly say bar some discomfort from the infection I had, the treatment and care I have had was a pure 10/10.

For the first time in years I have left the dentist with follow up appointments for a check up and my hygiene appointment already in the diary, I’ve pushed my fears out and am firmly in control of my health for the first time in a long long time.

I can hand on heart say I would not have taken charge of sorting my dental health out, had it not been for Ketan, Faith, Elena, Negar, Raminta, Liudmila, Adam & Evita over the last three years.

If you want a dentist that is reasonably priced, caring and pain free then give Brightside a call. They certainly live up to their promise of calm and gentle dentistry.

For years I had a major fear of dentists compounded by many bad experiences . I did a lot of research into dentists that specialize in patients with a ears and phobias of dental visits. The professionals at Brightside are exceptionally good. They put me completely at ease with my visits and any work that I need to have done. I have gone from visiting a dentist only when necessary to having regular checkups without any fear. I would highly recommend.

Had to find a new dentist when I moved to London and came across these guys via Google. Always been happy with the service provided, they're all very friendly and helpful, and they've been able to see me at very short notice a couple of times now too. Would heppily recommend this practice.

My husband is a very nervous patient and had a couple of emergency appointments last week. The excellent Dr Shah and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful with him. All the staff at Brightside Dental are so professional, caring and supportive. Their duty of care towards my husband was absolutely exceptional and therefore I can whole heartedly recommend this dental practice to anybody.
