I saw the hygienist today. She was very considerate re my sensitive bottom teeth & didn't hurt me at all with the injections. She also checked in with me regularly while cleaning.
Her assistant was also kind.

Reception were also kind & helpful.

Excellent treatment, I had a regular dental cleaning. The doctor was very professional, and adapted the session to my specific needs. She was so kind throughout the procedure and cheered me up.

I was very happy with the service I received by the dentist.

Had some work done under 8 months costing a lot of money and have had to go back a few times. Now to put things right, I now need another set of treatment that will cost more money again. I must say I am a little disappointed at the moment as we all know Dental treatments are expensive.

I am very happy with the results of the treatment.

Great care from Dr Amisa. She is very friendly, approachable and professional. Also fantastic with kids - my son adores her.

Polite, most appointments run on time - even if you turn up as an emergency, staff will work to get you seen same day.

I have been going to the Hygenist at the Dental Care Centre at New Cross Gate for several years and have always found it to be a professional service.

Both Sonal and Ressin look after me really well and are patient and caring in their approach.

I would highly recommend their work and the centre as a whole.

Quick and easy, no hassle from start to finish

Really good dentist with kind and friendly staff. Dr Sonal the hygienist is absolutely amazing and lovely. The only issue is they phone me all the time!! When I need to book an appt/if I have an appt scheduled they repeatedly phone me. I genuinely got a call this morning whilst I was in the dentist chair 🤣

I can not put into words that do justice for the care and support I received from my dentist and her assistat Dr anisa and pragna. Their level of professionalism and advice went way beyond just doing their job. As a result my dental work is excellent and of a very high standard, these lovely kind caring ladies restored my smile and I will be forever grateful.

I have been coming to this practice for a few years and have been very fortunate to be under the care of Dr Mani, who is honestly the reason I travel 1.5 hours for my dental appointments. He is a real asset to the practice — calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring - a rare gem!! As someone who is usually very anxious about visiting the dentist, his manner always makes the experience much easier.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with the management and reception team has been very disappointing.

In December 2025, I had a filling booked and paid a £60 deposit. At the time, I was heavily pregnant, suffering with high blood pressure, and genuinely too unwell to safely attend. I responsibly called ahead of the appointment to cancel in advance, as I did not want to risk attending while unwell get anyone else sick or undergo treatment and injections in that condition.

Since then, I gave birth in February 2026, and the appointment was rescheduled for late March 2026 as a check-up and treatment plan. That appointment was then cancelled on the day by the practice while I was already driving down, as the dentist was unwell.

The appointment was then rearranged again for today. Only after today’s appointment, while booking my follow-up, was I informed that my £60 deposit had been taken as a “failure to attend” charge because reception had apparently not made notes of my cancellation.

This is unacceptable, as it was not a failure to attend — it was a cancellation made in advance. An internal note-taking error should not become the patient’s financial responsibility.

I also want to acknowledge that Dr Mani personally went out of his way to email me regarding this misunderstanding and even spoke with management on my behalf. He is clearly a very busy man, which makes his willingness to personally support his patients even more appreciated. As a patient, I truly value the care and reassurance he consistently provides, both clinically and personally.

However, this once again highlights a failure on the part of admin and management. The same information could and should have been communicated directly by the reception or management team, either by email or by speaking with me at the practice when I specifically asked to see management. Instead, it was left to Dr Mani to step in and resolve an issue that should never have reached him.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the practice has had several opportunities over the past few months to raise this issue. They routinely send reminder emails and phone calls before appointments, yet at no point was I informed that my deposit had been retained. To only discover this months later, after multiple rescheduled appointments, feels both unfair and poorly managed.

Dr Mani’s care remains exceptional, but the way this administrative issue has been handled has left me feeling extremely let down. I would strongly urge the practice to review their practices and send communication in writing regarding any retainment of deposit.
