The reception Staff. I found them totally appalling. From start to finish. I arrived 10 minutes early. I was then waiting 25 minutes before I had to get up and ask when I was being seen. No one mentioned at all that the hygienist was running late.

So in the 25 minutes I was sat there I saw 4/5 reception employees sat chatting instead of doing their jobs.

There was a man behind the desk shouting, singing, making comments about periods to the women very loudly. I could hear him saying things like “this isn’t what I pay you for”. He also proceeded to mock a customer that came in. Got his phone out and started comparing him to people on his phone. It was completely obscene. I was literally sat next to a nun while he’s shouting about all this stuff. I’ve never been in a dentist and experienced something quite as extraordinarily bizarre as this. Why was there 5 people sat behind this tiny desk being so totally unprofessional, having social chats like they’re in the bar drunk with friends?

Finally, after 25 long and painful minutes a really nice lady came and got me to clean my teeth. This was good.

As I left and I paid my bill, I was shocked that it was £100 to have the service I experienced. I made a comment to the lady that in Brighton I pay private at Bupa and it’s nearly half the price. Where she then snubbed that I wasn’t in Brighton.

This is the second time I’ve been to this dentist. Both times have run over 10 mins behind. They cancelled my appointments and didn’t email me back.

Charging £100 to literally pay for 5 incompetent people to sit and have a chat behind a desk is a joke!

Every dentist I’ve ever been to offers a decent service. The lady was averaging about the location when I commented on the price but how can she be so arrogant when the lack of service was so embarrassing and terrible? I wouldn’t have said anything If it was good. But it was awful. And I had to pay for the privilege, I’m still in shock at the man shouting about periods while I was sitting next to a nun.

I'm rather annoyed at my experience and think it should have been free for the audacity and rudeness of your staff.

I am normally very nervous when I go to the dentist. My dentist makes me feel at ease and comfortable. I really will not go anywhere else.

Excellent dental practice. I've been using the same dentist for many years and have found the service to be friendly, efficient and thorough. No problem getting appointments and the NHS charges make it affordable.
