Thurloe Street Dental South Kensington

I would totally recommend Dr Raza's practice. From the moment I first called the reception, I was met with the most welcome and helpful receptionist (Saba) who very patiently talked to me as I explained that I was trying to find a dentist after a dental emergency a few months prior. I spoke to about five practices and in the end it was Saba's helpfulness (plus the great Google reviews) that won me over to try Dr. Raza.

I'm confident to have Dr. Raza as my dentist now. He is very knowledgeable and listens to his patient's concerns carefully. Dr. Raza also has never tried to unnecessary sell me treatments that are not in fact needed or beneficial for my teeth - which I have found to be th case with many, many other dentists and receptionists - but only those he thinks are important for your teeth's health. In fact there have been moments I wondered whether we needed to do more (because of what other dentists tried to sell me in the past) that I learned not to be necessary, and in fact may be harmful to my teeth if we proceeded with them.

I have gone to Dr. Raza now for two main treatments. Primarily it was because I needed a crown for my front tooth (which though I needed to go to the lab colourist twice, I now really like and can see no difference compared to my other front tooth) and a filling procedure for another tooth which was done expertly by Dr. Raza.

I think it's also a testament to Dr. Raza's practice that both nurse Karina and his receptionist Saba have been with him for over a decade. Thank you again all for all your help, and I'll see you for my checkup later this year!

The team at Thurloe are endlessly friendly and professional, and provide an outstanding service every time I visit. Zishaan is an exceptional hygienist, and gave my teeth a thorough clean that was painless in spite of my highly sensitive teeth and gums. Dr Raza and Karolina have been wonderful throughout my Invisalign treatment and I'm delighted with the result, while Saba helps to keep everything organized. Whatever your dental needs, I highly recommend this practice.

I couldn’t recommend Zishaan enough- he was amazing - I was nervous going in as I don’t love the dentist however he was was so friendly and made me very comfortable and it actually wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting! Thank you Zishaan, I’ll be back! :))

Excellent dentist, very welcoming team!

Great experience with Zara the hygienist for my dental hygiene/cleaning. She showed me how to go deeper with my brushing and she used a warm water machine called guided biofilm therapy. I definitely recommend her!

The clinic was very clean with a cosy waiting area. I had an appointment with hygienist Zishaan who was very pleasant & thorough so I’m really happy with the result. The receptionist was also lovely. Thanks for a great experience guys!

I attended Thurloe Street Dental for root canal treatment. My previous dentist had recommended extracting the tooth but I wanted to save it. They used a microscope at Thurloe for the root canal procedure and it all went very well. I am thankful to have saved my tooth and would recommend this place for root canal treatment.

I scheduled an appointment, paid a deposit and then realised the very next day I could not make it (as luck would happen). In my experience many businesses would be extremely difficult to work with in this situation, but Thurloe Street, refunded me on the day and invited me to reschedule when I could.

I have actually been before (2 years ago) for a semi regular cancer screen, and found them to be really really lovely, as well as professional.

Professional and friendly from front office to dentist to hygenist. Everyone took their time to answer my questions, worked with a light touch so it wasn't uncomfortable to be at the dentist at all. Dr Raza is unlike any dentist I have been to in the UK, he does not suggest unnecessary cosmetic procedures and with non-cosmetic issues, unless it's something that needs to be dealt with, goes by what you are comfortable to live with. Zishaan and Zara do a brilliant job with dental hygiene, scale and polish, you don't even feel them working on your teeth and the chat was lovely too. Karolina & Saba at the reception are just a delight to talk to, they clearly care about the patients and the practice very much, they go out of their way to accomodate you and make your life easier. I've recommended the practice to everyone I know.
