Being very nervous of attending appointment reception staff very welcoming and friendly and reassuring. Dentist was considerate, thorough and gave information every step of the appointment.

My appointment was a consultation as a new patient, prior having no experience of this surgery.
Right from my initial phone enquiry I was spoken with (not to) professionally, sympathetically and helpfully.
The Practice manager and receptionist met me with smiles and assisted me until the time if my appointment. The dental nurse and then the dentist also greeted me with smiles, endeavoured to put me at ease whist carrying out the consultation which included investigations that were new to me; a truly thorough job.
I was informed throughout and invited to view the X-rays along with the dentist. Everything was explained in detail so that choices could be made without the feeling of rush.
I left the surgery having had a positive, thorough, professional yet friendly, helpful experience. The whole experience was a huge improvement compared with my present -well past- dentist.
Attending a dentist is rather nerve racking for me. It is crucial therefore to trust that the best attention and care are provided; that you feel assured in their hands. I am currently persuaded that this is and will continue to be so.

I had a new dentist on my last visit and she was absolutely delightful. She was very knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away. I will be happy to have her as my dentist for a long time. Excellent

I was listened to and everything that was done to make sure I was happy with my examination and the results were explained very clearly and options discussed so that I could make a decision on what happened next.

The service was absolutely excellent from reception to consulting room, the dentist was extremely diligent taking time to fully explain the outcome of my examination through verbal explanation, the use of dental models and visual explanations of X-ray allowing me to make choices with regard to future treatment options and all this on the NHS.

A very clean and modern feel to the entire practice. Loved the fact there was a TV on the ceiling with subtitles so I can be distracted from the work being done!

Sherwood House has a friendly atmosphere from greeting at reception to in the dentist rooms, staff are friendly and helpful and talk through procedures, reassuring younger patients, would thoroughly recommend this practice to new patients.
