Very friendly staff.

Polite and helpful receptionist, Dentist very professional, and approachable. Explains in detail what is happening and the breakdown of costs which is reassuring. Dentist makes you feel at ease and comes across as caring.

As always, the care from the practitioners I saw was great. I have a suggestion about the check-in experience.

I need to check in at reception, by telling a receptionist I have arrived.

In this appointment, I arrived before my appointment time. Both receptionists were dealing with customers. So, I could not check in.

Both took some time. It went past my appointment start time and both receptionists were still engaged with the same customers. I could not check in.

I think my hygienist wondered whether I had not attended. Thankfully, their assistant came into the waiting room and called my name to check. I went into the appointment a few minutes late.

I appreciate reception may be busy like this. Therefore, I wondered about a check-in touch screen monitor. I have used these in GP practices.

You can perhaps enter your name and/or date of birth. The system finds your appointment, and asks you to confirm this is right. You can select yes, and there is an automated check-in.

A system like this may have resolved the issue I had. My hygienist would have been alerted I had arrived.

For starters I have a fear of dentists I went today as an emergency, I did have a tooth out I was so scared, but the dentist and dental nurse were amazing with me, I was very overwhelmed and emotional when leaving the practice. Thank you so much all at Glen Maye 👏👏
