I had called them twice before my appointment to let them know I would be late, yet upon arrival the staff members were rude and made me feel uncomfortable throughout my appointment.

I come here as a emergency, tooth abscess and facial swelling,
the receptionists were very helpful and
the Dr was very understanding and helpful and did her best to help me, she prescribed me antibiotics for the swelling and took the filling out of the infected broken tooth that the previous dentist put in a day before, and offered to extract the tooth in about 6-7 days can't wait to get the infected tooth extracted . Excellent care and advice
Excellent care and advice, staff very friendly and caring (and I am a nervous patient) even though my appointment was well into the evening. I wish I could find an nhs dentist like this practice.

My experience
I felt discriminated against because I was an nhs patient, the dentist had a very cold demeanour and my pain wasn’t taken seriously. I got the impression that time was money and I wasn’t paying so I was extremely rushed and felt my medical condition was not taken seriously. As a patient I expected more from a medical professional regardless of my socioeconomic background. The experience has left me feeling belittled and cautious of seeking medical attention from this practice. As it is difficult to secure a dentist as an nhs patient, your dental practitioners should be more empathetic to patients who are experiencing such difficulties and have come to you for help.

I have a phobia of dentists after a really bad experience years ago that left me seriously traumatised and they made me feel relaxed, explained clearly what was needed and I came out without having an anxiety attack for the 1st time ever.
