I didn’t feel like the dentist (who was new to me) listened to me and seem a little dismissive about my concerns about my teeth and getting implants as I currently have bridges and he said my anchor tooth is feeling loose. The dental nurse was brilliant and friendly but the dentist seemed to want to rush me out of the room without explaining the condition of my other teeth even though I heard the dental nurse say that something had gotten worse.

In the literal last/previous appointment I had a female dentist who was great and told me that I needed to keep flossing and implants are not needed yet, but a few weeks later, this dentist said to me that I should start saving for implants and didn’t seem to give me a clear plan on what to do, just wait for my teeth to fall out and then almost figure it out.

As someone who is also a professional who also works in the NHS trying to give the best care, I felt the dentist was very dismissive and unhelpful.

I will be asking to speak to management to help me figure out the clear plan for me to get implants back at Manchester dental hospital as I was told that my dentist will need to refer me back the hospital when it is time for implants. The feeling I got was that this dentist will refuse to refer me back to Manchester dental hospital which is something I think I need ASAP for implants according to this dentist.

I normally have a good experience with this surgery but this particular dentist was unpleasant and didn’t seem to care.

Very good, nice people and explained everything to me, just couldn’t do anything for me because of my swelling but explained every thing to me and when my swelling has gone I can go back, was so happy, lovely people.
