Reception staff: Great, I’m not sure how they cope within that noisy, chaotic environment, but kudos to them!
My appointment: wrong name being called, despite being a patient for around 5 years. The nurse simply called what was listed on the notes red flag 1.
Dentist had no clue who I was, even though they requested the appointment! Red flag 2.
No clear instructions was given surrounding the appointment, bear in mind that I’d had a traumatic procedure 2 years prior with same dentist. So I had no clue, was this a check up for the tooth, or general check up.
X-Rays came out, again no conversation.
Then questions, have you been having any problems with your teeth recently?
I respond: Other than the tooth you removed, not really! I did want to ask if it’s normal for the teeth either side, to feel more sensitive?
Dentist: When did you remove the tooth?
Me: I can’t remember the exact date.
Dentist: Roughly?
Me: you took it out, can’t you check the notes????
Red flag I don’t even know how many, by this point.
Anyway if you’re still reading, I put the above to say this!
I genuinely think, my appointment was merely set up us as a numbers £ game. Being upsold dental implants, after having a full consultation stating I’m not comfortable with it, is very telling! The scare tactic of my teeth now having a slight chance of becoming misaligned, without one, even though he advised removing the tooth in the first place being the best treatment.
My root canal was a disaster, I was left in excruciating pain, and told to try ibuprofen?!? I literally had to lose my temper, several times, to be treated. Every avenue, GP, 111, emergency dentist, sent me back to this practice. Their reaction was that I was over reacting, I can only assume, but anybody who has felt severe tooth pain, can understand.
I called today to cancel an appointment, Tuesday 04 June, was met with an out of office answering service, which was full! So I couldn’t even leave a message!!!

Very professional and friendly. Seen on time. Informative and advice given. I'd had to cancel a prior appointment, yet was rescheduled rapidly. Thank you.

Excellent service by my Dentist Jason Singh and the dental nurse.

Really great dentists, the reception staff can be a bit blunt but the rest are really nice. The building is super clean and the equipment is well kept.

This person left a star rating but no comment.

I have been having regular appointments with A. Singh for teeth cleaning and he is a credit to the Practice. First and foremost, he does not judge you or make you feel embarrassed in any way, he is very supportive and understanding. He is so helpful in giving tips and advice for things you can try at home that are very easy and cost effective. If you haven’t been for a clean for a while (I hadn’t for years) I can’t recommend him enough.
Furthermore, the girls on Reception are lovely, always so polite and ready to help in anyway. Apologies I don’t know the names of the girls that always help me with booking, but they were in this morning (25/04).

Jason is a fantastic dentist.

I arrived 10 mins early for my appointment as prompted, I noticed a sign saying, if you are 5 mins late you may have to re book. Yet my appointment was 20mins late, again???

Always a good service.

Jay and the whole team are amazing, so thorough and always offering advice on ways to prevent tooth decay and gum health. I highly recommend and cannot fault them. I’m so happy to have such a great dental practice.
