My experience
My check up was fine and the dentist was very pleasant but after ckecking my teeth and gums I was not given a scale and polish as I always have been on my previous visits.

I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with your recent appointment here at Windsor Dental Practice. NHS guidelines state that Scale and polish appointments are based on clinical need.
A scale and polish is considered clinically necessary when there is evidence of gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), heavy plaque or tartar buildup, or bleeding or inflamed gums due to plaque. These conditions can lead to infection if not addressed. The procedure is a standard part of an NHS check-up if deemed clinically necessary.
We do however offer private hygiene appointments and stain removal if you do wish to be provided with this service. If you would like us to book you an appointment please do not hesitate to contact the Practice and we can arrange a time and date that suits yourself.

Fabulous dentist
