West Point Dental Centre

Friendly and efficient dental practice. I have been going here for nearly 30 years and have no reason to change my practice. The recent refurbishment has made the practice look quite modern and in with the times.
I wonder if they'll get a fish tank installed again like in the old days.
Getting a Friday appointment can be quite difficult hence the 4 stars. But I would happily recommend this dental practice.

I'm really really glad I went with Westpoint. I have a phobia of dentists and didn't go for 6 or 7 years. I went to Westpoint last week and thought I was going to pass out from fear. As soon as I met my dentist, she put my mind at ease and was really understanding, kind and informative. I then got a scale and polish and I can't stop looking in the mirror at how clean my teeth are now. I was always too self conscious to smile but now I can't stop :) THANKS

The staff are very friendly and approachable. The surgery offer great treatments at discounted prices. Recently the surgery have been offering Free mini health checks for patients while they wait for their appointments. This is a great and helpful service to be able to get checked out to rule out problems caused by diabetes or high blood pressure. I would recommend this practice to people wanting a prompt, professional service.

In the last decade, I have moved from one dental practise to another before finally re-joining Westpoint Dental Centre (I used to go here as a child)..

I would say that this dental practice is by faaaar the best practice I have ever been a patient with. The waiting time is usually no more than 15 minutes.. At my previous dental practice (Birch Dental), I always had to wait for up to an hour to be seen!

The hygienist (Suzy) is brilliant!. I remember back when I was having my scale and polish done: Suzy took her time and was very gentle to make sure my gums did not bleed..I have been battling anaemia on and off for a long time..

My dentist and nurse are always super good..

29/04/2021: On this Tuesday, I had my first appointment at the practice since the Co-vid restrictions had been put in place...I must say the staff were working tirelessly and quickly to ensure that each patient was safe and seen to on time..

I also noticed that on that day my dental nurse was getting tooo far ahead of me: I had finished my check up, as I was getting out of the chair she was already on her way down the stairs...It showed how busy the practice was and how well the staff were working together to manage with the many safety rules that were in place at the time...

I must also make mention of (former receptionist) Arezzo as she has a calm, pleasant, and professional telephone manner..She's very good face-to face as well.

Saw Sima and she was absolutely fantastic, above and beyond. She was very professional, effective, friendly, understanding and reassuring.

I have been using this dentist surgery since I was 5 years old (I am 52) and both my children attend. I find them efficient and kind, no unnecessary procedures, receptionist are lovely, highly recommended.

Lovely dentist. I was very nervous about going to see a new dentist but everyone was lovely. Been going for over 5 years.
My dentist Janet is very reassuring and really friendly. Ive been to see Susie for a scale and polish and filling- shes very nice.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Think the other review's are unfair, first time I have visited a dentist and left happy. Friendly non patronising reception (rare), straightforward diagnosis, problem solved.
