Nhs dentist not private!
I had a check up with the dentist today and she was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. However, the check up didn't seem as thorough as they normally are. I was told I need to see the hygienist for a scale and polish but wasn't told it would cost me £85! When the lady on reception told me about the cost I immediately refused the treatment as I think its a rip off!! This is a nhs dentist not private one. Scale and polish SHOULD be included in the price of a check up which is currently £26:(as it states on the nhs website).

Wanted a filling checking out as area has become sensitive, good examination and advice given. Asked if I required a clean which I haven’t been asked for quite some time now and was carried out there and then. Best service received at this practice.
