Excellent treatment at Holt House
I have always had excellent treatment at Holt House. The dentist I have now Sophia and her nurse are so kind. Jayne on reception too is very kind and helpful. I have been a lot lately and have had to wait a while as they were running late, this does not matter to me I am happy to wait but I have witnessed twice Jayne having to suffer verbal abuse from a couple of patients this I find totally unacceptable. They all do a excellent job and do not deserve this. Thank you to everyone at Holt House for their kindness and excellent treatment.

Think the dentist I have is lovely. I don't like the amount of times my children's appointmenta are cancelled and I have always been told I need a scale and polish by dentists in the past but haven't been offered or advised to have one the last 2 visits. I did think it was part of the check up but have been told not.

Would Highly Recommend
Dr Osman Eltom is very professional but very caring too. He makes me feel at ease and explains everything in detail often giving useful advice. He made my recent appointment for a filling go as smoothly and comfortably as possible which I am really grateful for as I get very nervous. He is very good with our children too. Would highly recommend him.

Staff friendly and helpful. My complaint is that every time I come, I am kept waiting for at least half an hour and often longer. You should obviously space your patients out more realistically. I travel a long way to attend, so having to wait makes the whole appointment an unreasonably long one.

Appointment at Genesis Dental
I had a routine dental inspection at the Holt Lane, Matlock practice on the 18th of this month May. This included xrays as was told that all was OK and a date was fixed in November for the next inspection. I have a lower left jaw caped tooth which was said to be ok but for the the last week has been painful off and on and causing me concern hence my reason for the answer I have given to the question. No.

Holt House
Was kept waiting in excess of 25 minutes for appointment, this is not unusual. Dentist was asking me about COPD, which I do not and never have had., I suspected my records were not correct? Was not given safety specs or 'bib'!! Had checkup and polish, consequently got wet, no tissue supplied, got back to Car with pink 'polish' on my face! Dentist never very friendly, always dread attending surgery!
