I was very impressed with the dentist. I am a nervous patient but I felt at ease as soon as I walked through the door. She explained what she was going to do and in more detail than I have experienced in the past.

Holt House Dental Practice
Only thing I was disappointed with was the receptionist said I needed to leave a £36 deposit to make another hygienist appointment. I had already paid £72 for my treatment and although I wouldn't have minded leaving a small deposit I thought 50% was too much as I had just paid out quite a lot for my treatment. Therefore I left without making another appointment.

As always we are reviewing policies to ensure that both Patient and Practice are happy. I’m an extremely nervous patient. So nervous I haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade. My toothache had got so painful that I had no choice but to bite the bullet. The whole team were so kind and lovely. Explained everything that was happening and put me at my ease. I can’t recommend this dentist highly enough. I even booked in for a check up afterwards to finally get my teeth sorted out - which for me is some sort of miracle. Thank you.

Fantastic dental practice
I am a new patient in this practice and the care I have received from my dentist and her dental nurse has been excellent. The reception staff were friendly and cheerful and the premises were immaculate.

I've been going to Holt House Dental Practice as an NHS patient for a couple of years now. I do suffer with anxiety and going to the dentist always puts me in fight or flight mode, since having Saima as my dentist things have changed she is amazing, puts you at ease and gives you the tools to help, she also really knows how to give injections with little to no pain,hoping she sticks around so i can continue to get dental treatment without feeling overly worried.As a side note she is incredibly thorough in her exams but also gentle and empathetic.
Reception staff I've always found to be helpfully, polite and friendly.. 5* all round

My experience
The location is cramped. No parking, the waiting room, cramped. Always running behind schedule. This experience was rushed. Dental rooms upstairs, not great for the orderly or people with mobility issues.

Thank you for leaving us feedback, Not sure if you are aware that we are able to provide access to elderly and disabled patients though our downstairs surgery where it is possible to walk straight into the room.
As for our waiting room, we have added extra chairs to be able to provide a seat instead of standing, there are chairs positioned where more space is available if needed. We do have quieter surgery days on a Monday and Friday, please let us now if you would like to be seen on one of these days.
As for Parking there is a car park directly over the road which is priced at £1 per hour.
