After several positive experiences at your practice I left this appointment in utter shock & disbelief at the way my son & I had been treated. Upon leaving I immediately called your reception and asked to reschedule the appointment with another of your specialists. The lack of customer care was unbelievable, it left me feeling completely inadequate as a parent, as I\'d let this individual treat us in such a way in front of my son. I strongly believe that t he lady we saw for our appointment will continue to bully & misinform parents unless other parents like me raise these issues within these questionnaires . Having been on the waiting list for 2 years my daughter was told treatment would be starting in the next month, had her moulds done and was then told the parameters had changed and she no longer qualified. This was very disappointing for her and us

Over the period of time since we last saw you, your mouth and jaw have changed which means orthodontic treatment is no longer deemed "clinically" necessary for you according to the NHS crtieria we have to work to. NHS England will only fund orthodontic treatment if you meet specific criteria known as IOTN - more information on this can be found at https://www.bos.org.uk/Public-Patients/Orthodontics-for-Children-Teens/Orthodontics-The-NHS
Whilst it doesn;t happen too often, IOTN can change over a period of time and we do make patients aware of this when the come to see us initially.
We are sorry you are disappointed but hope you understand this is beyond our control.

Lady was nice and calm talking to my daughter, keeping her in a calm why, soft calm voice was very good to keep her feeling relaxed, explaining after care was really good.
