Thanks for submitting a review for us. We are very disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with some aspects of our service and will be in touch with you to discuss these in relation to your daughter's treatment at Teethinline.
It is however important that we respond to general points you have made:
We are a hugely popular practice and do see a lot of school age children which makes it impossible to offer everyone after school appointments. We do explain this at pre-treatment discussions so you are aware of what you are committing to, particularly in terms of appointment frequency and the fact that most appointments will take place during school hours. We include this information in the treatment contract signed between us and the patient/parent to ensure it is completely transparent.
We do have a fabulous trainee orthodontic therapist working under constant supervision from our Specialists at Teethinline. Patients booked in with her are normally asked to sign a consent form to make them aware that she is in supervised training and our reception team generally check that you are happy with this before appointments are confirmed , unless it is for an emergency or problem appointment booked at short notice. We apologise if you feel this was not the case for you and your daughter as we appreciate it is important you know who is looking after you.
It is also important to note that orthodontic treatment can vary greatly from person to person - some treatments can take 6 months and others much longer based on individual needs and complexity. We are delighted that you can see a marked improvement in your daughters teeth, albeit that it has been a lengthy process. As you say yourself, the specialist orthodontic treatment is clearly working and in our humble opinion, that's a fabulous achievement and a beautiful lifelong smile which you and your daughter have made a worthwhile investment in.
