Not very accessible for disabled some young disabled people may not want to use the stair lift as shows them being vulnerable so instead will struggle cl imbing the stairs

Thanks for your feedback which we value and appreciate.
We have a stair lift at our Oldbrook Practice to facilitate access for those who find the stairs unmanageable as the clinic is on the upper floor of a 2 story building.
The stair lift is serviced frequently and use is always monitored by a trained staff member therefore it is very safe and a great help to many who simply cannot manage the stairs. We do appreciate that some patients with mobility issues may prefer to use the stairs rather than the stair lift and we will also offer the option of being seen at our Newport Pagnell Clinic too which is a ground floor practice with no steps/stairs to negotiate with.

More inclusion with son's treatment

I was a little disappointed this time, as I had my other sons teeth done and I was included in all aspects of his treatment, this time with my younger son I was excluded, he was taken to have X-rays, impressions etc but the therapist didn't discuss anything with myself, my son is only 13, the receptionist gave me more information.

Sorry that you felt excluded in your son's appointment - the appointment you attended was for records (impressions/x-rays) with one of our Nurses.
Whilst we appreciate your feeling of exclusion, unfortunately you are unable to accompany your son for x-rays due to radiography regulations, However we will ensure you are included in all aspects of the treatment plan discussion at his next appointment. This will be with the Specialist Orthodontist who will discuss all aspects of the proposed treatment and obtain consent for orthodontic treatment.
