Receptionist was very rude and disrespectful had me waiting outside asking me irrelevant questions about my rubber bands when it’s not my first time having them !
Reply from Teeth in Line - Milton Keynes
We are sorry you were not happy with your recent experience at Teethinline Milton Keynes. We appreciate that in the winter months it is cold and you really don't want to be kept outside but we do have to conform with government protocols for COVID screening and clinical standards.
Whilst we appreciate you would prefer to be able to walk straight into the practice and collect elastics as would have happened pre-COVID, we do have a duty of care for all our patients and staff and as a clinical environment, just like your GP or hospital, we are required to pre-screen anyone who enters the premises for COVID symptoms.
We also ask about the colour of your bands too as these do change as treatment progresses and we need to be sure we are giving you the most recent colour your orthodontist has prescribed to keep your treatment on track.
We therefore feel it is important to reassure you that our reception team were asking both relevant and very important questions, for your safety and ours, and we really would appreciate some patience and understanding during what has been a very challenging COVID time.
It is also important to stress that patient feedback is important to us and presents an opportunity not only to improve what we do but also to reassure and give clarity and context and improve understanding. We hope our response has helped you understand what to expect for the next time you require elastics but if we can help further, please do not hesitate to get back in touch.
Overall, how was your experience of our service?
Very poor
