Functional Appliance check-up and tightening

The staff at Reception are always welcoming and friendly. The orthodontist is very friendly and helpful, giving me advice and answering my questions regarding the brace. The orthodontist explains everything they are doing and clarify if I don't understand.

Recent appointment

Very disappoint with recent appointment at Teeth in line Milton Keynes. Around 20 minutes after appointment time I went to check if they had forgotten about my daughter, then told they were running late. The Orthodontics was then rude and uncaring to my daughter. One of her brackets had fallen off and it was suggested that my daughter was purposely doing something. I intervened to explain that she was only using the plaque tablets to help her brush as per advise from the hygienist and that it could have fallen off from brushing too hard to remove the colouring. However, she didn't listened to me and kept going on. I was totally embarrassed and my daughter cried when we left. The impact this had on my daughter was too negative to do nothing hence I decided to write this review. More compassion and understanding is required especially when dealing with children. Everyone deserves the same level of service and respect. This was not acceptable.

I felt like I was in good hands

I had braces as a teen and since then, my wisdom teeth had caused a lot of movement on my mouth and I hadn't worn my retainer. I wanted to fix the wonky teeth and have a perfect smile again without having visible braces. I really wanted a qualified orthodontist to carry out my Invisalign treatment and I felt very welcomed and relaxed when I had my consultation at Teeth in line. I felt like I was in good hands and always found the staff very friendly. I'm no longer self conscious of my smile.

Recent Appointment

Orthodontist left the practice early, ignoring our appointment. We had to wait for much longer for the practice to find another orthodontist to review.Not impressed in a private practice

Unfortunately un-planned incidents do happen from time to time which can adversly affect the way the clinics run but we try our best to limit the impact. Impossible to get an emergency appointment even when it's an absolute emergency. Seems like far too many patients and not enough time! Shocking!

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you were unable to get an emergency appointment. We do only allocate emergencies on the day, it is not possible to pre-book in advance as this enables us to protect time for such incidents. When all the emergency appointments have gone on the day, if someone needs to be seen as an emergency we will arrange a "sit & wait" appointment for that day because we appreciate a problem needs to be solved. This is a well-practised routine in both our practices so I am disappointed to hear you were not offered something on the day.
We are a very busy practice but I would reassure you, we do accommodate emergencies everyday and we also have contingency plans in place for emergencies at our sister practice 5 miles away to help out if need be. Our reception team will get in touch to see if there is still a problem and what we can do to help. In the meantime, thanks for highlighting your concerns to us.
