Newbury Dental Practice

The dentist asked if I was looking forward to this (wisdom tooth removal). When I said no and explained my concerns, he was very dismissive and rude. At no point did he explain the procedure even though I was visibly distressed. At the point where he told me to open my mouth and held the syringe close by, I broke into tears while he told me it'd probably be worse if I had to rebook. The lack of care and empathy was disgusting. I felt he was unprofessional and wouldn't trust him to do the work appropriately. I'd like to know how to be referred to an alternative practice.

All round pleasant experience

Second time I have seen the same dentist and he makes you feel very at ease and just an all round pleasant experience considering the procedure.

Superb

The receptionist was very good and calm whilst giving me directions over the phone. And on arriving I could see how busy she was but still gave me the time needed. Ali and Irene were superb. Putting me at ease throughout the procedure. Informing on each step of the next action to be taken. An overall positive appointment.

The best!

My dentist is the best! She is friendly, professional, meticulous and kind. The dental nurse is friendly and approachable, and the working relationship between them is lovely to see.
The consulting rooms could definitely do with a lick of paint as they are looking tired and do not reflect the level of care one receives.
