Dental hygiene appointment
I have lots of mouth problems, sjoegrens syndrome, dry mouth & lichen plants. The treatment today was excellent & pain free. My mouth is very tender & great care was taken during this procedure. The assistant on suction duty was just as careful & caused no pain at all.

I’ve been at this dental practice for a number of years and I’m happy with the dental care provided but be warned that the practice closes its doors 1-2pm and so if you’re booked for a 2pm slot and turn up even ten minutes early you’re likely to have to wait outside, which isn’t ideal in poor weather (unless you have a car to wait in). The waiting area isn’t the most comfortable so if the dentist is running late its a squeeze, but also, since COVID it hasn’t been possible to rinse during treatment so I now take my own water bottle and paper cup so I can still swill and then dispose of the contents later. It’s not ideal but it works.

Sometimes I feel like a pest especially when my fillings keep falling out and I need 3 appointments in a month BUT south view dental centre always makes me feel welcome and are always kind and considerate. Best dentist I've have and I want to say they always try there very best to help. So please PLEASE PLEASE be kind them they deserve respect and consideration. They are great people and are great at there work.

Cant Thank southview dental enough, after 2 years with a previous dentist who said nothing wrong with my teeth and having almost half my teeth pulled out at the age of 34 i finally had enough with the pain and went and registered at southview, Straight away southview is taking really good care of me, I really cant thank the whole team enough including the receptionists. Can't stress enough how amazing this practice is especially Dr kavita was sent to them as an emergency appointment and ended up as a patient, as I needed alot of work done. And hand on heart the whole practice are wonderful and you feel welcome and at ease kavita clearly makes a huge effort to remember her patients finished my treatment today after the 1st time i was shaking and crying in the chair because of bad experiences with other dentists in the past and I think my fear has gone now I'm actually sad I have no more treatments left

Firstly I have to admit that I am a very very nervous patient! I think it's a throwback to experiences at the school dentist in the 50's and 60's!
However I had broken a tooth some months ago and knew I needed a filling. Saw Kay on Friday and she checked it out and made me an appointment with Samantha for today for a deep clean and a filling. I have to say that all the staff in this practice are amazing! Very very understanding about my fears and absolutely brilliant.
