Dental Plan
I do not recommend taking out the Dental Plan.
Retrospective calculation shows little benefit accrues for the amount paid, and if you experience any issues, you cannot get your money back: For example, I was unable to receive a few consultations because of COVID, but the plan still deducted money from me, thus resulting in me paying for no service received. The practice was then adamant that as it was not their fault, they were not obligated to refund me (whereas, had I simply paid for services when needed, deductions for no service would not have occured). Additionally, when under the plan, one is always suspicious that treatment is rushed, whereas if you pay for each treatment you would feel more confident in demanding the service. Thus I do not recommend the plan.
