Dentist Sarah put me at ease

Dentist Sarah put me at ease as I never had x rays before. She also explained and demonstrated what are was doing wrong in brushing. But now feel more confident.

I was extremely insulted to be asked to pay a deposit to make a hygienist appt despite being a longstanding customer and on your dental plan.

The policy for taking Hygiene deposits was introduced in August 2015 and was required due to the high volume of patients that failed to attend on the day of their appointment, effectively wasting valuable surgery time. The policy has made a significant difference in ensuring patients attend their appointments or at least give us notice of cancellation so that we can offer the appointment to another patient in need.

We sincerely appreciate that you have regularly attended your appointments throughout the time you have been a patient at our practice and we also understand that you may feel penalized by this change. However it is important to recognize that having policies in place is good practice in any business and enables us to train our team to apply procedures in a consistent and ethical manner for all our patients.

We hope you understand our rationale for changing our policy even though you may remain unhappy with what we have had to do. We also thank you very much for highlighting your concern to our reception team as we value all the patient feedback and comments we receive.

Oh what a fantastic dentist

Oh what a fantastic dentist is Dr Davison. I am an extremely nervous person but he gives me so much consideration and he explains everything he's doing. There should be a national award cup for Dentist of the year. He would definitely get my vote. Thank you.
