Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry if you find the orthodontic clinic times inconvenient. We do have 2 part time orthodontic specialists at the practice so appreciate they are not available every day of the week. However any of our team can see you for a problem or a breakage and we offer problem appointments Monday to Friday at both our practices.. We do appreciate that it is inconvenient to take your child out of school, however given that we see a large number of school age children, it would be impossible to fit everyone in outside of school .Before we commence orthodontic treatment, we ask every parent/patient to read and sign a consent to treatment and contract between us. This sets out key facts like appointment times, frequency of appointments and lots of other information relating to the orthodontic treatment. We firmly believe it is important to set clear expectations before treatment starts so that everyone is aware of the commitment they are making and can then decide if we are the best option for their child's orthodontic treatment.
We are sorry that you have experienced several breakages at the start of treatment - braces can take time to get used to and there could be a number of reasons why these breakages occur. If you are concerned, please get in touch or alternatively ensure you discuss your concerns with the specialist orthodontist at your next appointment and they will be happy to help.
