A pleasure to deal with

I’d have selected very good, but you asked for feedback on the overall experience and I had a tooth extraction which was uncomfortable and a little painful at times. While a trip to the dentist isn’t enjoyable, and I was particularly nervous today (as I was having a tooth extraction). My dentist is always approachable and mindful of my nervousness, and endeavours to put me at ease, which I am very grateful for. So while the dentist and assistant were professional and caring, as is generally the case. What stood out for me today was how friendly the reception staff were, especially when they realised I was nervous. They were really a pleasure to deal with.

Thorough check

Thorough check and cleaning of teeth. Useful advice received about oral hygiene. Reception staff were also pleasant and helpful.

Explained everything in detail

Dentist explained everything in detail and made me feel more relaxed. Only downside is paying monthly installments during covid and not getting the treatment included in my contributions. I didn't feel comfortable attending the practice during the pandemic and consequently I have lost quite a sum of money. Asked at reception but was told it wouldn't be included. Do feel this is unfair and should be assessed.

Thanks for your review. We are very sorry to hear that your Dentist was running late at your recent appointment.
We do try very hard to keep to time but sometimes this is impacted by unforeseen circumstances like an unplanned emergency, a pro-longed necessary treatment or if a prior patient has arrived later than their scheduled appointment time.
Unfortunately as your review is anonymous, we cannot look into the day you visited to see what specifically caused the delay or talk the Dentist concerned as we do not know who you saw.
