The ladies on reception ignored me when I arrived. I said hello and the both of them continued to look down at their monitors. Very unwelcoming.

First thing in the morning our phones are very busy and it is hard to strike a balance between helping customers on the phone and greeting everyone coming through the door immediately but please be assured we do appreciate the importance of doing this and will remind our team.

Dental appointment

My entire experience was a sales pitch. I was told the new procedure was to have X-rays…which I totally understand but every 2-3 years seems a bit ridiculous.
I was offered Invisalign and teeth whitening treatment as well as night guards. I am a candidate for all of them apparently.

Not the nicest of atmospheres and I am on the look out for another dentist.

We are sorry to hear you were were unhappy with your recent experience at Newport Pagnell Dental.
We do use x-rays to help us identify, diagnose, treat and also prevent dental problems. We ask your permission ahead of taking x-rays and you can choose to decline if you really prefer not to have them taken. However, without an x-ray we can only offer advice and treatment options based on what we can physically see when we do your check-up.
As we offer a full range of preventative and cosmetic dentistry we do like to let you know what we can offer to enhance your smile but we appreciate its a personal decision and there is absolutely no pressure to take advantage of these options.
We do try very hard to create a nice environment with great patient care delivered by our team of dental professionals so we are disappointed we did not meet your expectations on this occasion and that you have now decided t leave our care. Please do let us know when you have found another Dental provider to avoid us sending you reminders for future appointments. You can email [email protected] with this information.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent appointment at Newport Pagnell Dental. We are really sorry you were kept waiting so long. We do try very hard to keep to time but occasionally wait times are impacted by an emergency procedure or a problem which can take longer than expected to resolve. We thank you for your patience and understanding when this happens as we are sure all patients would want us to take the necessary time to relieve pain/discomfort.
In terms of follow-up appointments, we are very busy at the moment, catching up with delays caused by Covid. Unless it is an emergency procedure we are offering next available appointment which may be a number of weeks. We do however continue to see our patients within 24 hours for dental emergencies so if you are experiencing a problem or emergency, do get back in touch.
Once again we thank you for your feedback and your patience and understanding at this very busy time.

Very comfortable visit

Polite receptionists. Very comfortable visit. Dentist explained everything thoroughly during procedure. Felt very at ease from someone who has dental phobia.

A pleasant experience

Considering I am petrified of needles the dentist I had made me feel at ease also rubbed gel on my gum before the injection. It was a pleasant experience.
