Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we had to keep you waiting outside ahead of your recent appointment. In accordance with guidance provided by the Government and NHS England and in fact, just like your GP Surgery and many other environments, we are currently unable to offer our usual patient waiting room facilities at the moment. This is because we must significantly reduce the number of people within the practice at any time to help reduce risk and potential for transmission of Covid19 and to protect our patients and our staff. Whilst there may have been no-one else in the waiting room when you were given entry, other patients will have been taken through to surgery or have left the practice by our rear exit point to enable us to allow other patients to enter.
We do appreciate it is frustrating to be kept waiting outside and we would reassure you we are doing our best to make things run as smoothly and efficiently as we can in these very different times. If you prefer to wait in your car or at another venue local to the practice for any future appointments, you can telephone the practice to let us know you are nearby and we will call you as soon as we are able to let you enter the practice.
