Thanks for your feedback which is very disappointing to hear.
Without investigating further I am unable to comment on your experience with our reception staff but I would advise that our feedback is generally very positive about our patient interactions so it is disappointing that you feel, otherwise. Please get in touch with me directly I will of course look into your comments further.
In terms of the waiting times, I'm not sure if you are referring to our NHS treatment waiting list which is 24months due to the limitations of the NHS funding we have allocated to us. We are working hard to reduce this and hope this will change significantly in the next 12 months.
However if you are referring to being kept waiting at your appointment, please let me know and I will also investigate this point for, you.
Unfortunately from time to time we do have to reschedule appointments due to illness or unplanned absences. We generally plan our diaries 12 weeks in advance to avoid unnecessary cancellations or re-arranges but unfortunately with the best will in the world, we cannot plan for illness which impacts at short notice. We do appreciate the impact this has on our patients/parents and we try to be as accommodating as possible if we have to re-organise your appointment. We are very sorry if this has happened but would reassure you that we only cancel at short notice if we have exhausted all other options.
Thanks for sharing your feedback - if you would like to get in touch directly to discuss your concerns, please email
