Teeth in Line - Newport Pagnell

Had a mix up with records for our two daughters in the past. It takes them too long to link with our dentist at the same building. Treatment ok and the o rthodontists are nice just need better admin systems in place.

It would be useful to have a more detailed explanation of treatment plans and the timelines associated with orthodontic treatment. Often I find this asp ect of my visit to Teeth in Line somewhat frustrating. I should not need to push for this additional information as it should be readily offered during the consultation.

We're not sure whether you refer to "pre-treatment" or "in treatment" communication but either way, it's disappointing to hear you feel you have to push for information.
This is not our intention at all - Whist we aim to get across key points and progress at interim visits, we do ask if you have any questions or concerns and will always be open to making sure you have all the information you need.
It is important to note that treatment can vary with some cases being straight-forward and others more complex and this makes it difficult for us to give a definitive treatment timeline, which is what most patients will ask us. Progress and success is dependent on the tooth movement we can achieve and of course the compliance of the patient.

Thanks for your feedback - We appreciate that orthodontic treatment can feel like it goes on for some time but when you think about what is being achieved, it's quite understandable.
We are coaxing individual teeth to move and change position and then to remain into a position when they have been sitting differently for quite some time.
