Saved my tooth

I came to Dr.Hidema with an emergency and he was marvellous , calm and sorted out my tooth, I thought I'd have to have a cap but he saved my tooth at a fraction of the price. I am so grateful to have such a professional and caring dentist. Thank you.

All the orthodontists were brilliant

My sons experience with the orthodontist was amazing. He said six months and it was exactly six months treatment. All the orthodontists were brilliant.

How likely are you to recommend this dentist to friends/family if they needed similar care or treatment?

Well i am currently working an hour and a quarter extra at work to make up for the work time i missed when i was kept waiting at the dentist for 1 hr and a quarter for my appointment. If i lived closer to the dentist i would have given up and come back another day. I was late by 10 minutes but i had phoned twice to let staff know. I felt guilty to complain as i was late. But after 1 and qtr hours my girls and i had really had enough of waiting. The dentist herself is lovely.

Thanks for your feedback - We're very sorry to hear you had to wait in excess of an hour for your appointment. Our practice policy is to allow up to 10 minutes grace for late arrival before we decline to see a patient due to the impact this then has on other patients waiting to be seen. If we are able to, we do offer a sit and wait appointment for those who prefer not to come back another day but we would explain that we have no control over how long the wait may - if everyone else attends and is on time for their appointment, we are sure you understand it would be unfair to make them wait .
