Whilst the treatment from the orthodontist is always good and timely I am less than pleased with the scheduling system which gives priority to the private users resulting in me being forced to take a half day off work each time. I don't find the receptionists at all accommodating or understanding. I appreciate that they will be instructed to give priority to fee paying clients as it is a commercial business but I feel time should be allotted to working parents too.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with our appointment system.
Whilst we appreciate that most of our patients would prefer early or late appointments, particularly outside of school time, it would be impossible for us to accommodate everyone at the start and end of the day. Therefore we schedule Specific appointments at the start and the end of each day for all of our patients. For example we take braces off first thing in the morning and then we fit that patients retainers last thing. We also put braces on which we find is more convenient for patients at the start or end of the day as it is a long appointment of up to an hour. We do have some availability for early and late appointments but demand is high, which we are sure you will appreciate, so iappointments are allocated on a first come first served basis and this is why we strongly recommend patients book 2 appointments ahead where possible. We do our best to inform you about appointment scheduling before commence treatment with us so that there is no mis-understanding - this information is contained in the agreement we make with you, a copy of which can be sent to,you,on request.
Thanks again for you feedback.
