Excellent first visit
I had my first visit today and I am so reassured. I am a really nervous patient, I am ashamed to say I haven’t visited a dentist in years! This was due to a really bad experience at the last appointment I attended elsewhere.
I met with Dr Jarlath McAteer today and he was amazing! As was the dental nurse. Very patient, empathetic, honest and made me feel at ease. He explained the next steps in treatment and talked me through everything. Normally after a check up I wouldn’t want to go back to the dentist. However after today, I know I am in the right hands with this practice. Thank you! Here’s to a new smile hopefully in the future!

Felt very safe and comfortable
I managed to get over my fear of going back to my dentist today and had a hygiene appointment with Elaine. l think l have been attending the practice for at least 6 years and l can recommend it to anyone. l always have experienced a professional service and felt very safe and comfortable here. There was a time when l was very stressed and had a panic in the chair. l was treated in an empathic and caring way the staff went over and above to help me get over my fear in the months following and now l'm not anxious about appointments.
The team here and the whole systems are providing safety and reassurance during the pandemic.

Some confusion over appointment times (invites sent out by EB via outlook) - I turned up to an appointment 2 weeks ago and was turned away because it 'didnt exist' It definitely did on my outlook! (to be fair your front of house folks acknowledged it as an error). Also so far it has not been possible to settle up on your portal which is somewhat frustrating when you get chased but the portal does not accept payment. Maybe someone needs to take a look at IT stuff there. Just feedback - overall very positive, especially the actual treatment that matters the most.

Accommodating and understanding
My Dentist Jamie is very accommodating and understanding. Explaining everything that is he is going to do before and after completing it. The surgery is exceptionally clean and tidy. I had x rays and some work done within the time slot given. As a nervous patient I was apprehensive of the appointment but I was put at ease by Jamie and the dental nurse, which made the visit easily manageable. Thank you. I still have further treatments to go, so am feeling more confident.
