Always avoided dental appointments in the past due to experiences growing up. I now actually enjoy my appointments, always friendly and relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff and everything explained about the treatment in simple terms. Definitely recommended.

Very organised, I felt safe regarding Covid due to the measures in place. My hygiene appointment with Elaine was great. She knows I’m a nervous patient, and she was patient and used techniques that I’m comfortable with. I would definitely recommend to other patients who are nervous.

Hygiene appointment and check up
The scale and polish was very efficient and comfortable. I was surprised to learn that I was not having the usual check up at the same time as this was not explained when the appointment was made. I now live in wales and it is more complicated to make another major journey.
The Covid-19 protocols were problematic. The information sent by text message led me to expect that masks and gloves would be provided. As required, I rang the surgery on arrival but had to listen to a very long promotional message before being sent to an answerphone. I then waited outside in the rain for 15 minutes, It turned out that my arrival message had not been conveyed to the hygienist.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that things didn't run smoothly for your appointment. We do send out very regular emails informing patients of the protocols that we all need to follow and when patients call to book their hygienist and exam appointments we do explain that currently we cannot allow patients to see 2 different clinicians on the same day, apologies if this wasn't explained at the time. Thanks Richard Bramley.
