As a lifelong dentophobic, I used to dread hygiene appointments. Then I met the lovely Beth. From the first hello, she puts you at ease - clear explanations, gentle technique, and a lovely, warm manner.
The cleaning itself is superb: meticulous, painless, and unhurried, with modern kit and a light touch that somehow finds every last bit of plaque.
What really stands out is her prevention-first approach: small, specific tips tailored to me that have stopped bleeding and improved sensitivity within weeks.
She remembers what we discussed last time, checks in on progress, and celebrates the wins. The result? My teeth look brilliant, my gums are healthier, and I no longer fear the chair.
Beth is simply outstanding and brilliant at what she does.

Ongoing and extensive treatment
From reception to dentist/hygienist, I have had exemplary, professional and very caring expert treatment. Nothing is too much trouble and whenever I have a problem I can see someone as an emergency. I have to mention Bethany who goes above and beyond with expert and very caring treatment as a hygienist. Jarlath is someone who is undoubtedly an expert in his field. Jamie who I am also very comfortable with. This is a superb practice.

I had a filling changed yesterday which I had been putting off for a long time because i was dreading it but sunny and maya were both excellent. Didn't feel a thing and they made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening the full time. I can't even tell which tooth has the filling in either! Thank you both of you 😊

Union Quay Dental is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I used to be quite a reluctant patient, but this place has changed all that. I’m lucky enough to have Yasmin as my Dental Hygienist. Yasmin is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and gentle with my cleaning. She has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions, taking the time to explain how to maintain my hygiene at home. She has even sent me follow up emails to recommend certain products when my teeth have been a little sensitive. Thanks Yasmin, you’re amazing.
I’ve seen Dentists Jarlath, Jamie and George on various occasions and all have been excellent, given great advice and explained my course of treatment clearly. I had some cosmetic work with Jarlath and now regularly receive compliments on my teeth.
I’m really happy with the treatment I’ve received from all at Union Quay Dental and can’t recommend this place enough.

Another really great experience with Yasmin today. Her one-to-one interaction is excellent and she puts patients at ease from the first minute. As a patient Yasmin’s hygienist treatment is comfortable, very professional and personal.
As someone who had a lifelong fear of all things dental my experience at Union Quay Dental has transformed and turned around my old fears 100%. I have used many dental practices over the years, but the staff at Union Quay Dental are by far the best I have experienced.
