Excellent

Elaine is fantastic, she looks after me at every hygiene appointment. I used to be so nervous and Elaine has helped me feel more relaxed. She’s kind, caring and very knowledgeable. Now I feel comfortable attending my appointments and that is thanks to Elaine being patient and understanding with me. The whole team are amazing. Thank you.

Root canal - not nearly as scary as I thought

I had damaged a tooth - cracked off a large part of outer part - which had been filled but was not settling well, kept flaring up with low level infection and it needed sorting out. Ewan suggested a root canal and although the thought of the procedure was not really something I relished, I trusted him to know the best course of action. It was a surprisingly painless process, the worst thing was keeping my mouth open for 35 minutes. The following day, everything felt back to normal and I have no discomfort. Ewan inspires trust and confidence in his expertise as a dentist, I have recommended him to friends and family for the quality of care and the excellent standard of service I've received at this and his previous practice.

Ewan is always friendly and pleasant and has a good recall of the background of the patient. Checkups are always professional and thorough. I especially like how he gives advice with no pressure to take a particular course of action.

Friendly and empathetic approach

From the initial appointment to discuss treatment and options, all staff have been courteous, helpful, friendly and caring in their approach on each occasion. Questions and queries are answered clearly and knowledgeably, instilling confidence in the treatment proposed. The length of each appointment has been spot on, with the dentist explaining in detail each action as it began. Very pleasant dental nurse making a good team and very pleasant experience. Glad l changed dentists, and very pleased with treatment. The ethos of the practice is obviously to treat patients as individuals, and this is evident in their friendly and empathetic approach. Well done!

Genuine service by wonderful people

As always received email and text messages as confirmation and reminders so no chance of missing appointment - reception staff are so polite and helpful with any enquiry and welcoming on arrival. Have been attending appointments with Jamie for almost a year now and he makes the experience an absolute pleasure - always in good spirits and happy to explain technical terms or progress in laymen speak - can’t rate services highly enough, totally authentic genuine service by wonderful people.

Composite bonding, amazing results

I have recently had whitening and composite bonding with Jamie Dury and I have to say the results are amazing. The bonding looks amazing and it’s hard to tell that it isn’t my actual teeth, very impressed, thank you so much.

Hygienist appt.

I did not find this appointment as positive an experience as I usually do.
The late start to the 2pm appt. meant I was concerned I would be late for another appt. in Hexham at 4pm.
Whilst I acknowledge that all new persons commencing a new job may be hesitant and nervous, this treatment felt very uncomfortable, and I have requested that I am seen by Bethany for my next visit, who has completed my check up's before.
Sorry I cannot be more positive, everything else was as good as usual!

I was made to feel totally at ease with the whole process. Mr Mcateer and his assistant both kept me informed of the procedures involved and I felt like I was listened to regarding my treatment. Wonderful service, highly recommended.
