Appointment

I was given an early next working day appointment after discovering a swelling on my gum.
Andrew gave me 2 options for treatment there and then and even cleaned my teeth whilst waiting for the anesthetic to work. Many thanks.

Very friendly receptionist and Andrew Young is a very good dentist and always explains what he is doing and puts you at ease. Very helpful dental assistant.

Good advice and service

Friendly staff and apologetic as slightly running late. Good advice and service without a ‘hard sell’ approach and defo feeling very lucky not only to have an NHS dentist but to have this one. Thank you.

Although my appointment was slightly delayed this was politely explained on arrival. The hygienist cheerfully and meticulously carried out her work and made suggestions for future treatments. I was very happy with the work that was done.

Cedar Road Dental Practice

The Hygienist was very friendly and thorough. However I feel as a general rule the receptionists are not very welcoming or friendly. The lady today booked my appointment for scale and polish in April and advised me it would be £60. I paid the deposit at the time of booking and I understood I had £40 more to pay. I was told today that it was £70! I pointed out to the receptionist that it was she who had told me the cost and booked the appointment but she denied it in quite an abrupt manner. Also on arrival I was told that they were running 30 minutes late but nobody phoned or texted me to advise me of this. I would not have chosen this clinic but my own dentist retired and we transferred without warning to this clinic. I have no complaints with my dentist who is lovely and very helpful. However the receptionists could be more welcoming and helpful. I have had several appointments cancelled without explanation and no apology either. It is very frustrating!

Fantastic

The surgery were fantastic and helpful in getting me an emergency appt the same day - which I really appreciated.
My dentist, Arwa, is always so helpful, respectful and knowledgeable and ensures you leave the surgery with a full understanding of your dental situation. She makes you feel like you are in good hands and that she actually cares about the patients teeth.
You are way better than other dentists I have used in the past and a thousand times better service than GPs. Thank you for your service.
